regard to different deliveries of the same oil at different times. As regards purely physical properties there appears to be some agreement betweenthe Vacuum Engine Oil and our Motorine B. We observe, however, and important fundamental difference in respect that, while both oils contain the same percentage, approximately 10% of fatty matter, we take great care that our fatty matter shall be free from fatty acid i.e.neutral, whereas, doubtless by design, our friends introduce their fatty matter in the shape of pure Oleic Acid. We are bound to say that it appears to us to be contrary to all principal and practice to sanctionthe deliberate intruduction of fatty acid to a cylinder.
