-2- We have handed to Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} a disc and drawings suitable for the B.III wire wheel. These discs have two chromium to paint joints. Such an arrangement has been on most of the Rootes cars for two years. We will arrange to run on 10.R.V. discs made to the final drawings for standardisation. Exact cost figures are not yet available, but should come out under £2 per car, finished except for painting, the latter to be the coachbuilder's responsibility. Whether the discs will be pressings or spinnings has yet to be decided on cost considerations. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
