We hand you herewith LOP. DB. {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 1922 - Cutout and Regulator Unit. This comprises the R.R. Cutout attached to a Lucas unit embodying base, regulator, resistances and cover clip. The cutout has been slightly modified to economise coil washers, etc. This LOP. replaces the mock-up unit instructed in BY {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} /RD.4/B.8.12.37 for Bentley III and Bentley 50. Will you please order and put in hand 6 sets, one for bench test and the remainder for use on projected chassis. Messrs. Lucas expect to complete the die for the base moulding by mid-September, and should be able to supply the unit to DB. {Donald Bastow - Suspensions} 1923 shortly after this.
