Messrs. Ellison Insulations Ltd.,
Perry Bar,
BIRMINGHAM, 20.

Dear Sirs,

We recently noticed an article in the "Automobile" Engineer" mentioning uses of a material known as "Tufnol Whale" and are interested in trying this material for water pump bushes and would like to test bushes to EXS.431/2 (attached are prints). We would be very grateful if you could send us a pair of sample bushes to these drawings. Failing this, enough of the material for us to make same.

Will you kindly mark these samples "For the attention of Mr.Steadman".

We would like to have your opinion as to the material's suitability for this purpose.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
