Handwritten Text: on the 20 H.P. have only lost a very small quantity of oil, only a few drops. The new R.{Sir Henry Royce} car is rather interesting. It has the worst brake and squeaks and the worst servo judder of any car I have ever driven. This is rather fortunate, because owing to the fact that the servo judder would not allow the brakes to be applied in an emergency we nearly had a smash. R sort of assumes that he never realised that we had a cure for this trouble. Anyhow he got so far as saying that if we had a cure

Yesterday Rg.{Mr Rowledge} posted to you some rough notes I made when R.{Sir Henry Royce} was discussing the Shock Damper which should go into production.
