it ought to be on the car. We suggest that if a shakedown of the rubber ring and enclosing case were sent-him at once we should get a lot of design. Rg.{Mr Rowledge} suggested it might go into production with an oil resting rubber ring (such as aero engine water joint) are made of, but it requires something to limit the end movement. However, in case the rubber collapses, R appears to be worrying about the cost of running the car 10,000 miles with the present number of new parts. He does not seem to think that the steering column support or the shock dampers are sufficiently like the units that will eventually go into production to be worth running.
