Dear Mr. Grylls, In reply to your letter of the 2nd inst., I am afraid I cannot give you any idea of the cost of the rear axle testing rig, which you came down to see at Wolseley Motors, Birmingham. The point is, we fabricated this machine from scrap steel and scrap gears and consequently any cost which I may mention will be misleading to it.
