C.L. Breeden, Esq.,
Messrs. Wilmot Breeden Ltd.,
Eastern Works - Camden Street,
B I R M I N G H A M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}

Dear Mr. Breeden,

Confirming my telephone conversation with your Manager yesterday, I have told my brother-in-law that I consider your car to be worth £1050, provided it is not in immediate need of a rebore, and he has tentatively agreed that he will pay this.

This is £150 more than you originally asked for.

The car is going to be examined as soon as it arrives at Derby and, should we find that it does require rebore, in fairness to my brother-in-law, I should be glad to know if you would be prepared to deduct the cost of this from the £1050.

Your chauffeur told me that your consumption was still remarkably good, but this may not be the case when the car is driven fast.

Yours sincerely,
