Westminster,
LONDON.S.W.1.

For the attention of Mr.C.N.Brooks.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 22nd. inst. relating to the piston rings we recently ordered and note that you are producing a further 144 rings without the taper on the face, in this respect we have requested our Order Office to issue an official order to cover the job.

We are pleased to say that we have received the tin plated pistons in good order but we have not yet completed the tackle for testing them under cold temperature, we shall however let you know the result of these tests as soon as they are available.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
