-3- (7) The usual difficulty was experienced in arranging for the windscreen to be held slightly open to admit a cool draught of air to enter the body. We think that it is imperative that something should be done to improve the mechanics of the windscreen opening mechanism. The present arrangement is most cumbersome to operate and allows the windscreen to flap about alarmingly on bad roads when in partially open positions. (8) The body is bad for wind noises, the majority of which seem to emanate from the sunshine roof. Opportunity was taken to test the latest type of bumper bar fixings on this car. The car is being returned to Park Wards to enable them to deal with the faults. We think it is well worth combining one of our 10,000 miles tests with this body to complete the endurance test. Attached is a weight analysis. RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/TD. | ||
