X5840& X7940G 20 HP. - TESTS IN FRANCE. We have heard from Hancock that the 9,000 miles will be completed on the 20 HP. car on Saturday. After that mileage is completed there will be the usual inspection and the car MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} will leave Chateauroux for Grenoble on Tuesday July 2nd. The car will be delivered to FN. at The Hotel Majestic, Grenoble. We are very anxious to carry out one or two experimental tests on 21-EX car before it returns to England and it would help us a great deal if it could be arranged for Hancock, when he delivers the 20 HP. car, to bring away 21-EX car from Grenoble. If this can be arranged we should like to know when the car will be available. The tests are in connection with steering and engine mounting which we wish Hancock to carry out in France.
