Chassis B. 56-BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
Confirming our telephone conversation of this morning we have now received the Carnet for the above car, and this we attach.
We also confirm our telephone conversation of this morning, in which we advised you that in the opinion of the R.A.C. an International Fiscal Permit should be issued for this car. We have traced the registration book in London and this is being forwarded to the R.A.C. to-day, so that we may be able to get it up to you to-night. If, however, this is not possible, then we will get the R.A.C. to post it direct to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c/o the R.A.C. official at Folkestone.
By the way, on the telephone you said that the registration number of this car was CMF 340 whereas according to our records and the registration book it is BLA 211. We trust that, on reflection, you are in agreement with the latter number.
