Hanbury - Head Complaints} Mills You are aware of the several occasions we have attended to this car for choked radiator owing to repeated complaints from the customer. Eventually we fitted a special radiator with increased gaps between the tubes, 7 x 5 1/2 type. This fitted, and tests around Paris proving satisfactory, the customer left for the South, but he writes that before reaching Fontainebleau the water boiled, and before reaching Dijon he repeatedly filled up with water. It seems incredible, especially as I had doped the radiator. I attach a copy of this customer's letter, and you will see I am now in a cul-de-sac. I have checked up every other possible cause of over-heating, such as valves, timing of valves and ignition, efficiency of pump, choke in water circulation of engine, etc. on more than one occasion, and they are perfectly normal. I suggest this is a case where we invite the customer to let Works have his car, and let Sales in London make suitable arrangements with customer. Ps. | ||
