RE- TRUFAULT SHOCK ABSORBERS

The only shock absorbers we have at the works of this type are some suitable for the front of the car. The particulars of these are as follows:-

Stage. Movement. Friction
1 7.5° Nil.
free movement.

2 8° 14 lbs.

3. unlimited. 40 lbs.

The records we have of the back one are those fitted to 7 CA. We have no records of the degrees of movement but from memory we should say it is about the same as the front. The friction was 38 lbs. the first stage and 90 lbs. and 2nd. stage. The friction was measured with a 10" lever in all cases.
