With reference to your instruction sheet 12497 (29/9/13), please note that Mr Royce wishes the above removed on all cars and cancelled on series 2700 and not to be fitted to 2704.

Spring referred to was never instituted for 2704 nor any car fitted with Mr Royces hand adjustment. In regard to other cars he has been misled by insufficient information, Mr Nadin evidently has not explained the matter & I have therefore written to Mr Royce on matter. Mr Platford considers spring an improvement. By
