Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}By. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} X346 E.1/HP.24.2.36. Memo not sent Phantom III Front Suspension. With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/LES.11/JH.20.2.36, you will recollect that these two key levers to N.Sch.4716 were first reported to have worn slack, and in consequence we altered the instructions to production to the multi-key type. Your report now implies that we should change back again to the two key pattern, but we should like to make perfectly sure that this type is satisfactory by having them stripped down from the bumper chassis and examined.
