Coverley - Production Engineer} x346 E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/MN.24.2.36. Multi key lever Phantom III Front Suspension Main Lever. We send herewith N.Sch.4774 showing a modification to the key-way in the main lever of the front suspension of Phantom III. The modification consists of a radius at the base of the slots, and a chamfer on the top of the key on the shaft. We also show a radius at the base of the key on the shaft and on the corresponding corner of the key-way on the lever, as recommended by the Tool Dept., to suit the grinding operation. The lever itself in external shape is the same as that called for on N.Sch.4716, and the positions of the key-ways relative to the lever and the squares on the shaft have not been changed.
