BENTLEY 111. CHASSIS.

REAR SHOCK DAMPER - SECTION 7150.

Please receive herewith two blueprints of each of the following :-

S.CD.935 Increased Loading of Rebound Stroke relative to bump (ratio 1 1/2:1).
Ex.S.1105 Valve - Inner. 2 off.
Ex.S.1106 Spring for Valve. 2 off.
Ex.S.1107 Modification to Valve Chamber. RH.{R. Hollingworth} 1 off.
Ex.S.1108 " " " LH.{Mr Haworth} 1 off.

The following standard parts will also be required :-

F.85592 Valve - Outer. 2 off.
F.85639 Damping Disc. 2 off.

Kindly produce 1 set.

The above is as requested by memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}17/JH.5.10.38. to provide unequal loads on bump and rebound, and which it is hoped will improve the ride.

A scheme (S.CD.936) giving a rebound to bump rates of 2.1 has also been prepared, but this will only be issued if the 1 1/2:1 job is not satisfactory.
