Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr. West.

Dear Sirs,

We confirm herewith the various points discussed with your Mr. West during the writer's visit to you on Friday last, the 29th ult.

Phantom III - Pending the completion of tests as detailed later, you propose to change over from the existing 6-BHD11-S to the 6-GLD13-SR.

This battery will have dual separation, and plates of a similar number and size to the Exide 6-XCMR13-IMR which they are now supplying to you.

We will build up as soon as possible a 6-GLD13-SR and send it to you for test.

In the meantime it is understood that you will continue testing the 6-HZD13-S battery originally put forward by us with a view to giving an improved starting performance as compared with the 6-BHD11-S.

The object of these tests will be to determine the life,
