For the attention of Mr. Rowledge.

Gentlemen,

I am directed to acknowledge receipt of your letter of January 27th, together with blue print No.E.37038, showing a Cambridge transmitting water thermometer.

I am further directed to inform you that this type of instrument has been tested at the Royal Aircraft Establishment, and is approved for use on civil aircraft provided the modifications suggested in the R.A.E. Report dated January 28th, are incorporated. A copy of this report was sent to you some days ago to enable you to take action on the instruments being produced for D.T.D.
