JACKS for 20 HP. Chassis

The Michelin Company advise that they have now sold the Licence for manufacture of their Jacks to three other French firms, and as far as they themselves are concerned are giving up manufacture entirely.

As far as future orders are concerned, they are prepared to negotiate on our behalf with any of the three firms in question.

Before we instruct them to do so, however, would you kindly confirm that none of the English Jacks submitted to date are satisfactory for our purpose. Also that there are no other English Jacks on the Market of which you would like samples.

It seems to me there should be no difficulty in getting an English made Jack on the Michelin lines, and I am thinking of asking Tangyes, and firms of that calibre, what they can give us.
