Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}2/MA. Dear Sirs, We were favoured yesterday with a visit from the Engineer to the Caledonian Insurance Company, who inspected the Bentley 'A' Body which was delivered to our Works last week. A copy of our quotation has been forwarded to the Engineer, who has given us authority to proceed with the work due to accident. It was noted upon arrival of this car that a new offside running board was required and we have quoted the sum of £2. 14. 0. for this addition. If it is possible upon completion of the work for our charges to be reduced, we should be pleased to pass the advantage on to the Insurance Company concerned. In reference to the new nearside front wing, for which a separate quotation was made, we understand you will receive a communication concerning this in the course of the next few posts. Yours faithfully, for PARK, WARD & CO., LTD. REPAIRS & SERVICE DEPT. [Handwritten notes and stamps]: [Top left, red ink]: D/E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/LID{A. J.
