RB{R. Bowen} NEW TYPE MAGNETO DRIVE.

The above has been running about on a car for some time and the universal jointshave been very satisfactory and in one or two cases, on dismantling, have shown themselves to be in very good condition as regards lubrication and absence of wear, the chief is that there is too much slack in the keywayed telescopic joint which accentuates the magneto drive rattles.

Hives does not think that the slack in this joint has got worse when running as same was not very good when first made, and I shall be glad if you will take up this matter with a view to obtaining some improved form of joint so as to avoid this trouble.
