WST Messrs. Rolls Royce, Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. West. Stelmar Fog and Anti-Dazzle Lamp. With further reference to our letter of the 7th inst., we have received the following letter from Mr. Cox, the Sales Manager of your London Office:- "We thank you for your letter of the 7th instant on the subject of your Stelmar Patent Fog Lamp. We are pleased to note that you have sent a copy of your letter to our Derby Works, because Mr. West is carrying out some tests of lamps at the present time, and it would be very helpful if you could send him a sample lamp to try. We have asked him to let us have a report on it as soon as he has had an opportunity of trying it. " We shall be very pleased to arrange to send Mr. West a lamp on sale or return basis but, before doing so, we believe it is essential that he should see the lamp in our demonstration room at this office, so that he will fully appreciate the essential points in regard to the fixing of same to give the correct results on motor cars, lorries or any other type of motor vehicle. We have just supplied two lamps for fitting to a Rolls Royce car through Messrs. Thrupp & Maberly who arranged, prior to fitting, to send one of their representatives to this office to see them operating in our demonstration room, after which visit there was no difficulty in arranging for correct mounting. | ||
