P.2. S.M. 2nd Gearbox, and SpectreCodename for Phantom III Gearbox.

The sheet metal gate fitted to the Phantom gearbox is in our opinion too flexible, and we accordingly send M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Sch.4149 which shows a gate made from thicker material reduced in thickness on the top where the present thickness is sufficient.

For the SpectreCodename for Phantom III, as all of the gears have stops in the box to limit the travel beyond the engaged position to .050, we suggest that the slots in the gate are lengthened so that the gate does not limit the travel of the change lever into gear, as it is this duty which causes the gate to deflect noticeably.
