Description of Parts: IGNITION COIL WITH FINER PRIMARY WINDING (REDMANOL CASE) (25 SWG.)
Origin: Improvement of current consumption and effect of platinum contact points.
Experimental Test Report:
See EFC2/T4.3.26 - in addition to which there has been completed on 20 HP. 10-G-3 a 10,000 miles test of such a finer primary coil with Redmanol case, with entire satisfactory results.
There has now been completed a satisfactory 10,000 miles test on 40/50 HP. chassis 12-EX.
Road Test Report:
The platinum points remained in good condition.
There was no trouble in both cases with the coil which gave good results during the tests.
Part List:
A Scrap and replace at all costs, including Chassis already delivered to customers.
B Scrap and replace on Chassis in works.
C [X] Scrap present stock and replace on all Chassis not yet handed to test.
D Use existing stock Alteration effective on future Chassis.
