BROOKLANDS AUTOMOBILE RACING CLUB. TELEPHONE Nos: WEYBRIDGE 1220 (10 LINES). TELEGRAMS: BARKLUB,WEYBRIDGE. 1320 BROOKLANDS MOTOR COURSE, WEYBRIDGE, SURREY. 16th June, 1937. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robothan, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Derby. Dear Mr. Robothan, Seeing two of your cars down here last week for a number of days it occurred to me whether you have ever thought of having a small depot for your own exclusive use in or near the Paddock. We should be very pleased to rent you a small plot of ground or we might even build a suitable shed for your purpose. In addition to such a building being a convenience to your testers and others attending on your cars, it would be an advertisement and would, I think, be well worth the small amount of money you would have to pay as rent. I hope to be coming up to Derby with my own car to have one or two matters looked at by arrangement with Mr. Cowen and if this suggestion I have put forward to you interests you in any way, I shall be very pleased to have a chat with you when I arrive at the Works if you are available. Kind regards, Yours truly, A.{Mr Adams} Percy Bradley Clerk of the Course. (A.Percy Bradley). | ||
