12. The sheet metal body cross member under the front seats fouled the top of the gear box slightly, and had to be cut uot, and the floor under the front seat fouled the servo motor.

13. The height of the back of the front apron relative to the level top of the chassis frame was not correct and we had to modify the inside valance of the front wings.

14. The front wings were cut out to pass the extension of the chassis frame in front. This was not necessary as we sent you particulars of the bumper fixing showing the frame cut off short of the front of the wing.

15. The use of braided metal covered cable for the wiring inside the body was called for to prevent interference with the wireless reception. Our electrician reports that this outer braiding was used as a conductor between two points of different potential. That is to say that the braid was not/earth potential and therefore liable to cause a fire. This outside metal braiding should only be used as an earthing conductor.

Yours faithfully,

For and on behalf of
ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
