Herewith we send N.sch.2343 shewing a slight modification to the filter fitting on the petrol tank which will enable, as we believe, the filters to be much more easily withdrawn than is the case at present. As it simply consists in filing off the corners on the existing fitting, and gives us a very much greater angle at which the filter can be withdrawn, we suggest that it should be done on all experimental cars. If it acts as we anticipated it will enable us to avoid providing detachable bars on the luggage grid.
