No: 97 INSPECTION LAMP WITH SPECIAL CLIP. Lucas's are unable to find where. they allow London 30% discount on the price.

Present price .................................. 9s. 9d.
New price ...................................... 9s. 3d.

FS.{F. Steele}22 FOOTSWITCH. This switch can be purchased for 1s. 9d.
The service record shows .49% of failures.

LR.{Mr Ellor}7 REGULATORS. The first suggestion of 15s. 0d. per unit based on tool charges distributed over 1000 sets, was revised, and the price of the article is to be 12s. 0d. with a tool charge of £150 to cover the moulded base, the wire handle and 5 connectors.

I think 12s. 0d. is ample, and when production gets going, this point is to be watched, to see if any saving can be achieved.

AMMETERS. Mr. Lucas is anxious to supply us with a good ammeter and admits that the present mounting is a bit after the 'jerry' style, but anticipates that if £16 is spent on tools to make a better outfit, they could supply ammeters to us at 5s. 6d. each, which would not suffer from our complaint of sticking.
A sample is to be sent to us.

CASES - SPARE BULBS. This job is in such a delapidated condition, that the information from Mr. Lucas is not yet ready, and Mr. Thacker is to handle this, as soon as available.

HORN RELAY UNIT WITH EXTRA TERMINAL. We requested that an additional terminal should be provided so that the horns can be rendered inoperative when the ignition is switched off, - Sales' request.
Lucas's re-action to this is "Yes" and "No".
"Yes", if we like to pay for it, as they do not feel justified in providing this feature for the rest of the motoring trade.
I do not think we should press for this, and if mischievous people play with the horn, we cannot be held responsible.
