-3- SIDE LAMPS. Reference No: 1151. Side Lamps without Foot ................... 8s. 6d. per pair. It was proposed that we should, to gain the effect we require, recess the wing. A 'built-in' type of side lamp was discussed - Lucas make Ford replacements; and Mr. Thacker is to provide us with samples of the moulded glasses they have. LUVAX OIL PUMP. The difference in the finish of the operating lever would represent ........... 1s. 0d. saving. The change in general finish with Lucas standard fixing brackets ......................... 3s. 0d. saving. Deletion of cover over top of plunger ...... 5d. saving. (We believe this cover is required to prevent engine fumes passing through the lever aperture). LUVAX LUBRICATION SYSTEM - MISCELLANEOUS SMALL PARTS. A 7½% reduction on the cost of these parts is promised on the list provided by Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} Present cost of these parts ............... £1.6.11d. Saving ............................ 2.1d. DIRECTION INDICATORS. Complaints about direction indicators failing to return fully into their apertures, were put forward, and they have developed a shorter arm type, and are also well on the way with a spring blade and cam which will assist the gravity affected in cancelling the indicator. We proffered to test indicators in a 70 - 80 m.p.h. wind. The present price in small quantities, to Coachbuilders, with stainless steel arms ................. 14s.0d. per pair. Allowing for the service required in fitting, no reduction was thought to be practicable. S.W.H. WINDSCREEN WIPERS. Present price ......................... £1. 3. 6d. (Not less than 200).
