With regard to the Buick car, I have been on the telephone to Lendrum & Hartman, but unfortunately Mr.Hartman is away on holidays.

I spoke to their Sales Manager, Mr. Berenstein, and he says they know nothing whatever about the 1938 programme, not even the price of the car.
Of course there will be no difficulty in their ordering the car, stating that it is for us and therefore Mr.Charlie Chayne will give it personal attention.

It seems, therefore, that we shall have to order it on trust and fix up the price later with Mr. H artman, whom I have no doubt will be quite fair.

I should, however, like to know just exactly what car it is, viz. the horse-power and other details which will enable them to order the car intelligently. These people had never heard of the Phoenix, for instance. I presume we shall require right-hand steering.

Incidentally, they tell me they get practically all their cars from Canada, whereas, of course, this one will have to come from America.

Will you please let me know on the telephone any further information you can give me with a view to identification.
