W/S. To C. from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1649 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/AP.28.8.37 Replying to C.6/C.26.8.37, the specification for the Buick car which we wish to purchase is 60 Model, 320 cu.ins. engine, 122" wheelbase. This was the car that they produced in 1937 and possibly they may have altered the wheelbase or made some other slight modification for 1938. We should like, therefore, a model which most nearly corresponds with the above specification. I believe this car has been known in England as the 'Century' model Buick. We should like the car to be fitted with a good radio set for purposes of comparison, and with the latest type of interior heater so that we can get as much information about this as possible. General Motors make their own radio sets which are built into the cars. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
