LID{A. J. Lidsey} X7460. S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}..from PN.{Mr Northey} Copy to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} PN.{Mr Northey}1/WT2.6.32. X.7460. X.5460. Hinged type of Petrol Tank Filler Cap. I am very glad to note from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}3/MA.1.6.32 that effective modifications will be instructed as soon as possible with a view to preventing excessive spilling of petrol from the latest form of filler. I am not clear from the blue-print and description whether this modification is one which can be easily applied to any existing fillers where complaints may have arisen. I trust that this is the case. Will Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} please let me know whether the holes which have to be filled up or drilled can be done in position.
