I have felt for years that adjustable steering wheels would be an advantage and certainly an attractive selling feature. I note you refer to the Bentley in particular but I would rather see the experiment carried out on a 20/25 RR as, if we did it on the Bentley, it would immediately create a demand for the same thing on the RR and I would rather do it the other way round. I agree that the adjustment ought to be of a type that can be easily operated/because, as you say, if this is not so, much of the usefulness of the device will be lost. I should like to see us let the Bluemel people fit up their device on one of our experimental 20/25's as soon as possible so that we can see and try it. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
