ORIGINAL TO BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to CJ. MOR. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} GOSHAWK II. WHEEL CARRIER. X4085 In addition to N.sch. 1390. we send herewith N.sch. 1391. shewing a further alternative lock for the wheel carrier set screw, the advantage being that this is a positive lock, and is not affected by the motion of the wheel at the rear end. As however it is a little more elaborate than those we have sent you, we suggest using it only in the event of the schemes shewn on N.sch. 1390 proving to be ineffective.
