C O P Y. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AJL1/LG. 29th. Oct. 1925. The Autovac Co., Stockport. Dear Sirs, With reference to the modified suction elbows supplied to us to reduce the effect of the Autovac action when the engine is running slowly. We have tested these on several cars and have come to the conclusion that they are an improvement under certain conditions, upon the existing type of elbow. As this appears, at present, to be the only method of relieving our troubles in this respect, we should be glad if you could let us know any reason why they could not be adopted as a standard fitment. We do not imagine that the slight decrease in efficiency resulting from the alteration would ever make itself noticeable in ordinary use; we should be glad to hear your views on the subject. Yours faithfully, | ||
