SECRET 6017 To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. c. to By/RD. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.9/AP.5.4.37 Wraith Ignition Coil. We have found that the characteristics of the aero coil to DC.277 are better than those of the windings to D.75672. We should like to know whether it is possible for the windings in the former coil to be fitted in the case now occupied by the D.75672 windings. The advantage of this scheme would be that the coil windings standardised for the aero job would serve equally well for our chassis work. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. | ||
