For the attention of H.E.Price Esq.

Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter of the 15th. inst. marked for Mr.Grylls' attention, we are preparing a Bentley for the stopping distance tests (its brakes need relining) and when it is ready wewill communicate with you again.

We would like to test a set of India tyres aswell as the C1 and X1. types, and will bring these with us. We would like you to use your Cambridge accelerometer on our car. We will bring with us also a very crude piece of apparatus for measuring stopping distances, which nevertheless gives results comparable with yours.

The writer will be coming over to Fort Dunlop instead of Mr.Grylls because he has made some stopping distance measurements previously.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
