Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}11/F23.10.19. RE. LUBRICATION OF PISTONS. It is certainly a fact that the more oil we can supply to the pistons, some benefit is always obtained as regards overcoming piston knocks, or seizing up, and during my conversation with you a short time ago, you confirmed the fact that grooving the pistons did improve the lubrication. If you are satisfied with the grooving, could you please recommend it as standard. I do not feel at present, with the standard pistons, that we are taking advantage of all we know with regard to improved lubrication. EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} | ||
