# 6119 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 11th November, 1938. PRIVATE. W.O. Kennington, Esq., Messrs. Delco-Remy & Hyatt Ltd., 111, Grosvenor Road, S.W.1. Previous corres. 261 Dear Kennington, Many thanks for your letter of November 10th. I am glad that you are now satisfied with your car. Though I understand it is not now your responsibility, I wonder whether you could get your people to work with us on putting the cam hardness right on the distributor. As you know, it has taken nearly three years to get this through on production, and it just wants a little trouble in customers hands to damn it for ever. It is not really a big job changing over cams, and it can cost nothing to make hard cams on production. If they won't work with us, they will never get another chance on Rolls-Royce products. Yours sincerely, | ||
