To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} From G.W.H. Hotel de France. Chateauroux. Indre. 17.8.33 I. B. IV. You instructed me to send the reports to you this week. You will not receive this letter until Saturday therefore I take it that to-morrows report will have to go to Derby, as you said Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} would be there on the 21st. The car is running wery well generally. The soft rubber in the exhaust rear mounting has collapsed through being cooked. It is not satisfactory. The sperical ball support as fitted to 18 G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} IV. was a much better proposition. We have a bracket and ball end here, but as Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} is sending out a new exhaust system, we shall wait for that before fitting this bracket. The air temperature has cooled off 10°C. G.W.Hancock. G.W.H. | ||
