Yours:- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/KW. June 15th.1934. Messrs.Rolls Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 14th inst., enclosing a blue print of your drawing LEC.3963 and beg to advise you that we are putting the petrol gauge in hand immediately. We should be glad, however, if you would let us have either a calibrated drawing of the tank or a tank in order that we may carry out the calibration as it is not possible for us to calibrate the meter without this information. A general arrangement drawing of the tank unit is in hand and we will forward you a print of this for approval immediately it is ready. We should be glad if you would kindly check the dimensions as these are not given on the drawing you forwarded us. Assuring you of our best attention at all times, we are, Yours faithfully, For S.SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED. V.Russell ELECTRICAL ENGINEER. TO AVOID DELAY ALL ENVELOPES SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO THE FIRM. | ||
