GOSHAWK 11. CHASSIS. X4219

With reference to your query - "How many experimental Goshawk 11. are you making?".

The material being ordered from outside is being ordered in sufficient quantities to make six chassis. The programme is that three sets of parts shall be machined up in the Experimental Shop and made into cars and three sets will be machined up by the Works so that they can have an opportunity of studying the pieces from a manufacturing point of view. These chassis will not all be completed at the same time. We anticipate that as each chassis is made it will have fitted to it the improved pieces so that each one will be a stage nearer the model for production. If we are going into production with Goshawk 11. it is necessary for us to have six experimental cars, at least.
