GANDY'S 'SAFEGUARD' BRAKE LINING - CONTINUED MESSRS. ROLLS ROYCE, LTD. (3) 5th January, 1938. We think this procedure is well worth trying out, and we would stress the point that no adverse affects resulted from the presence of the holes in the drum. (B.) We are sending extra samples of Safeguard "D" so that you may be in a position to try out this quality on both shoes. We are also sending duplicate samples in case you may wish to try this quality on drums provided with holes. When we are in a position to supply you with the "400" G.M. material containing a high content of graphite, we will let you have samples. We are carefully considering your problem from the point of view of preparing something entirely new and as soon as we can submit any samples of products which show some promise, we will let you have same. Yours faithfully, GANDY'S (THE G.B.M.Co.,Ltd.,), Per S. Shinn. | ||
