re 5-B-IV on Test in France.

Referring to the daily reports, I note it says that the car has resumed running after fitting transverse axle with standard brakes, new axle controls, standard front springs etc.

Would you please let me know precisely what was different from standard on the front of this car when sent out to France other than the 14" brake drums.

I know that the springs were non-standard but I gather there were some other non-standard parts as well.

I see from a report dated the 17th that the clutch failed and the car had to be towed home. I should like to know whether there was anything different from standard about this clutch and, if so, what it was.

The report dated the 22nd refers to the car running with a new solid plate clutch fitted - is this standard - thick leaf springs on the front - are these different from the ones referred to in the report dated the 16th which you refer to as standard front springs?
