ENGINE SECTION - Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}

It was agreed that we should not produce a special set of thick tappet covers for this engine, but use the thin gauge ones in existence with the distance piece.

It was stated that we had a set of thicker gauge covers for test.

CRANKSHAFT.

RE.134.

CARBURETTER.

AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson}V.25.

It was agreed that CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} would loan EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} a model of this carburetter to make a drawing.

AIR SILENCER.

A scheme was being completed by Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} and will be issued to Wyn. on Tuesday, March 19th. Wyn. will supply the necessary fixing, RH.{R. Hollingworth} the stay.

CAMSHAFT.

RH.{R. Hollingworth} queried the number of RE.207 camshafts likely to be required. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} said 6.

It was emphasised that these camshafts should be produced to the state where they could make either the new or the old type, and a decision would be taken after experimental running as to how they should be finished off.

The camshaft that will be fitted to this unit will be with a drilled up oil way.

Can form Ex.33974.

FLYWHEELS FOR LUCAS STARTER MOTOR.

It was agreed that of the 7 flywheels instructed, 3 should be light and 4 heavy

CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} will allocate the flywheels to the correct engine numbers.
