Present:- Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH.{R. Hollingworth} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ENGINE SECTION. HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH.{R. Hollingworth} pointed out that he had not yet received RE.106 crankcase prints. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} stated that this was because they were going to issue detail drawings of the four sizes of engines made out of the same patterns to the pattern maker simultaneously. HH. said that the completed four sets of drawings were promised for Wednesday, March 20th. It was agreed that HH. was going to issue a specification for a 3-bore unit made from one of the existing castings which should be ready for fitting to the chassis in five weeks' time. The specification for this temporary unit should be as outlined in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}2/SW.23.2.40. The engine allotted for this car is B.60 No.6. It was emphasised that for this temporary unit HH. should not specify anything which it is obvious HH. cannot get in the time at his disposal. CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} pointed out that the only differences between the specification already issued for B.60 No.6 and HH's new specification were:- (1) Altered cylinder head.
