R.R. 483a (50 B) D.D. 31. 12-25) J.H.L. EXPERIMENTAL REPORT. Expl. No. X3579 REF: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG13.11.25. To OY. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RE. AUTOVAC. We cannot agree with your suggestion that the "dumping" in the Autovac is due to weakness. We say definitely it is due to richness. We attach a report in connection with this. We will at the first opportunity try a Stewart tank on one of our cars. There is a certain amount of mystery in the fact that some cars suffer from autovac dumping more than others. We have tried the valve as shewn on your sketch to prevent the petrol running back into the tank, and we find no improvement on this particular fault. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
