Is the lamp fuse in the best position ? As it is at present, in the event of any one lamp circuit developing a short circuit all the lamps will go out and the Klaxon will also be dead. There are occasions when a happening of this sort would be very dangerous. Would not a small fuse board having on it say a fuse for head, and a fuse for side and tail, and a fuse for Klaxon be much better ? There might well still be a master fuse on the distribution board. There is no fuse in the field circuit in the new box arrangement. This seems to be a very necessary fuse to retain, as in the case of the dynamo running open circuited the field windings would be damaged were this fuse omitted. L. F.{Mr Friese} | ||
